This looks a bit fishy! Taken in a traditional black house in Orkney in 2013!
PENDLE HERITAGE – shedding light on our past
Using archaeology to uncover the secrets beneath our feet and lectures and tours to better understand our heritage we are The Friends of Pendle Heritage.
We’re a friendly group of like-minded individuals, keen to welcome new members. It maybe that with career and family now settled you are finally in a position to involve yourself in something new or does retirement offer the same opportunity?
Regardless, membership offers the opportunity to make new friends, utilise skills that you have developed over the years or perhaps keep fit by getting involved with gardening or archaeological field walks.
We currently have four afternoon and four evening talks between September and May with a range of subjects to suit most tastes. In addition we arrange regular trips ranging from one to six days to areas as diverse as Saltaire and Orkney!
Have a look at our Past Events to see what you’ve missed or Future Events to see what’s coming up!
We look forward to welcoming you.
