Burnley’s mediaeval history will be uncovered for us by the well known local historian Roger Frost in his talk on Ighten Manor in the Honor of Clitheroe. His talk encompasses the principal players involved and the important role the manor played in the town’s mediaeval industry. This includes providing a home for the manorial corn mill, a fulling mill and the official market. There is also a link with St Peter’s Church.
Admission is £2.50 for members; £4 for non-members, including light refreshments. Pay on the door.
