The Blue Plaque Launch, at Barrowford Library, will unveil who lived along Gisburn Road, Barrowford in 1911. We are grateful to the staff at the library for accommodating us, and to Terry McGinn, the Chair of the Friends of Barrowford Library, for all his support, encouragement, and help with preparing a file of holders of Blue Plaques, to be housed in the library. Our thanks also go to Lewis Ashworth for all the time spent gathering original material for a display to be placed in the library on the day. A free event, where tea, coffee, and ‘heritage’ cakes will be served.
